Ultracure Damp-Proofing Cream
Ultracure can be used in all types of masonry without the use of high pressure equipment. Ultracure Damp-proofing cream is one of the methods used by Professional Remedial Services to install a new remedial Damp Proof Course (DPC) This cream is delivered by hand pressure only from a simple displacement pump and injector lance into a series of holes drilled into the mortar course.
During the curing period a low molecular-weight silane vapour is also produced giving excellent migration through the wall. Curing of the DPC starts immediately with the final cure taking 2 – 6 weeks depending on wall thickness. Drying of the wall may take may months, usually the accepted rule is one month per 25mm (1″) of the wall thickness.
Our Surveyors are trained to understand the level on installation and other details of the specification to make every installation successful. This will include removal of any bridging for the completed work and re-plastering specification.
