Structural Waterproofing
All of the various products and techniques have potential advantages and disadvantages when directly comparing to each other.
When designing and selecting a system the choice of product and the technique used should consider various factors, a limited example of which are detailed below:
- Type of construction / structure
- Clients requirements
- Anticipated usage of the structurally waterproofed area
- External ground conditions / water table
- Form and feasibility of any remedial works
- Risks associated with choosen system
- Maintenance of the installed system, etc ..
