We have all heard of the increase in metal theft due to the rise in raw material cost and Oldham is no different.
A newly vacated industrial unit has had its lead flashing removed from the roof. Whilst they were taking this the thieves removed the Aluminium gutter lining to the original steel valley gutter resulting in the exposed original metal gutter that had failed joints. This allowed water ingress into the middle of the property. With the aid of Roof-seal Plus the gutter was relined with a material that bonds to the metal gutter and can not be removed by thieves.
